The Clippers eye their second straight WThe Los Angeles Clippers (34-33; 32-35 ATS) put an end to their five-game losing streak this past Sunday. They outlasted the Memphis Grizzlies 135-129, failing to cover a 7.5-point spread in front of the home fans. The Clippers erased a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit after yielding a whopping 51 points in the third quarter.
Tonight was a huge win for us, Clippers coach Tyronn Luesaid. It felt like the stakes were high. Losing five in a row with a team that has a lot of talent.
The Clippers shot 52.9% from the field (12-for-29 from deep) against the Grizzlies while going 33-for-35 from the foul line. Paul George went off for 42 points and 11 rebounds, Kawhi Leonard tallied 34 points and ten boards, and Eric Gordon added 17 points off the bench.

LA holds the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference. The Clippers are two games above the No. 11 seed. The Clippers are making just 32.6% of their 3-pointers over the last five outings.
The Clippers finally broke out of their slump with that comeback victory over the Grizzlies, and Im expecting them to stay on the right track. Norman Powell (16.6 PPG this season) is out with a shoulder injury, but with both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard healthy and ready to go, the Clippers should outlast the Raptors on the home court.
Toronto is struggling to defend the 3-point line. The Raptors allow 12.7 triples per 100 possessions (25th) on a 37.7 percentage clip (29th), and the Clippers are making 37.7% of their 3-pointers (tied-6th). LAs defense hasnt impressed either, but the Clippers own more offensive weapons than the Raptors.

Both Toronto and LA rank in the bottom ten in pace, so Im not expecting a proper high-scoring contest. While the Clippers are shooting the rock from deep well, the Raptors are making just 33.6% of their 3-pointers (28th in the NBA), so Im going with the under on the totals.
The Clippers have struggled to defend over the last few weeks. They should be doing a much better job, and the clash against the Raptors seems like a nice opportunity to make some improvements. The under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between the Clippers and Raptors.
